With the cleaning-cloth that can be extracted at the side of the Hyg-I Stand the customer himself/herself can clean the handle of the shopping-trolley and the basket according to needs. It is the obligation of the store, the one running the shop to attend to the cleanness of the shopping-trolley and the basket, the removal of dirt, waste management, periodic cleaning, however, here the importance of personal hygiene is highlighted, which can be provided for the visiting customers by shops as a service honouring customers.
A customer can do a lot to preserve and to protect his/her health; furthermore, one takes the clean and maintained shopping-baskets, -trolleys more willingly in hand. But one cannot see everything, for instance, bacteria, viruses, parasites causing diseases, which may be passed on others by contact. If a school, a workplace can be the centre of various infections, then a bigger or a much frequented store can be regarded as a centre. Customers coming from a distance of even 20-30 kilometres take over the shopping-trolley, basket almost from one another´s hands. In the past people would go to the markets, shops from the same neighbourhood, therefore they reacted to the viruses, bacteria encountered there more or less the same way. Today the world can be travelled around in a day, with this; however, we are exposed to increased danger toward the unknown but also the already known germs. "The reasoning is false that the sight of a hygienic stand would be alarming in the view of many. Quite the opposite!" – emphasizes István Sipos, the recycling manager of Hu-Mago. Let us do all that we can to prevent trouble. For instance, by providing the conditions of personal hygiene on the site of purchases, both in small and big shops." The Hyg-I Stand is made up of three parts. On the upper part there is the digital advertising surface – for the still-picture or animated advertisements - positioned to help inform customers. The display device that can be built in the stand is of 12-15 inch image ratio, which enables a spectacular, well-readable title or pictorial information to be displayed. In the mid-section of the stand, antibacterial cloths can be pulled out from two-two openings (on request four on the requested side) per sides. The used cleaning cloth can be thrown away into the bin placed in the lower third of the stand.
The stand is made of a shockproof metal body, whose surface is covered with electrostatic powder painting but can also be made with rust-proof surface. The colours of the stand can be adjusted to the colour scheme of the given store. The whole surface can be labelled, provided with sticker, which can be placed on site. Its classical erection site is the entrance, where the customer can disinfect the shopping-trolley, basket without holding up others. The accidental knock over of the stand can be prevented if it is attached to the floor or perhaps to the wall. The stand can be a useful device among others on the greengrocer department, where besides feeding the hygienic cleaning-cloths, bags and sachets can be taken out of it.
Simultaneously (in four storage cartridge) altogether 400 cleaning cloths can be placed in them. Filling the device is simple and quick; the empty cartridge must be replaced. The used cleaning-cloth must be thrown away into a metal or plastic receptacle, whose further destiny is set in the common hazardous waste management regulations.
The display device of the stand needs altogether 6 W energy per hour; its memory can be extended. Advertisements can be uploaded in many ways: it is the most simple to send it in an email to the shop, where the staff copies it to the removable memory of the stand. The device can be ordered against extra charge with internal computer solution, thus the advertising aids can be „sent” centrally via the internet to the selected HYG-I stand or with the help of WIFI established in the store advertisements can be updated as well. The stand can be ordered in a touch-screen design, thus the customer – besides watching the commercials – can orientate himself/herself about the location, price, and features of the searched product, can make comparisons etc., but can also be controlled centrally, the latter case can be utilized especially during ongoing special offers.
